About me
CACHE Level 3 Qualified | 8+ years childcare experience
Insured & DBS checked | SENCo & Autism experience
Hi, I’m Naomi — founder of Tots & Tails Care
I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education and spent 8 years working in a professional nursery setting, progressing into senior roles including SENCo, Autism Lead and Senior Room Leader.
Alongside my professional childcare background, I have over 15 years’ experience providing dog sitting and check-in care for friends, family and local clients.
Tots & Tails Care was created to provide structured, reliable support for both children and dogs — professionally delivered, without losing warmth or approachability.

Dog Care Experience & Approach
For over 15 years, I have provided trusted dog sitting and check-in care for friends, family and local clients. I understand the importance of routine, safe handling, secure access to homes, and clear communication.
Whether it’s a lunchtime check-in, extended daytime care or short-term sitting, dogs are cared for with structure, consistency and attention to individual needs.
Combined with full insurance and structured booking processes, owners can feel confident their pets are cared for with professionalism, consistency and attention to detail.
Child Care Experience & Approach
During my nursery career I gained a range of experience including:
• Leading rooms and managing daily routines
• Supporting children with additional needs
• Working as SENCo and Autism Lead
• Developing behaviour support approaches
Today, that experience translates into calm, consistent and individualised care.
Whether a child thrives on structure, benefits from routine reinforcement, or simply needs steady support after a long school day, I bring experience beyond basic babysitting.
Inclusive & Individualised Care
Every child is different.
My experience as SENCo and Autism Lead means I am confident supporting children with a wide range of needs, routines and personalities, while maintaining a calm and consistent environment. This doesn’t mean my services are specialist-only. It means I understand how to adapt appropriately, and provide thoughtful, structured support when needed.
